Client request - "make it feel like summer" but on a budget.

The main backdrop was a custom 3D scenic piece we had fabricated locally.

We brought in some truss and added LED tubes to finish the look

The venue had a PA, a decent lighting rig, and LED displays. 
We brought in scenic pieces to make the event feel more tailored. The bulk of our work was in the back end of the venue - creating a green room and control room in the adjacent overflow rooms.
Presenters commented that this was their favorite venue to speak in because the audience felt so close.  Lighting choices played a huge role in creating that feeling.
While the PTZs are getting better at basic subject tracking, they still can't replace the intuition of a dedicated tight camera op.

The crew was pulled from our pool of trusted contractors and our in-house team.
PTZ operator manning 3 cameras at once. Sony FR7's match the FX6s perfectly.
We had a limited amount of space to deploy 6 operator positions + client desks. At the producer's station, I'm monitoring the downstage monitors and the program feed while handling audio playback and showcalling.
The preliminary render accounted for tie lines for each camera - 
keeping the venue clean of cable mess was crucial.
